Great experience
Having the owners in residence at the apartment we rented for the week made our stay very special.Being welcomed the first night of our stay with a wonderfully prepared dinner gave us the opportunity to get to know the hosts and meet the other renters.The front porch just off the brick walk was a high lite along with our excellently furnished first floor apartment.We rented again for next year so how better to compliment our hosts

Sid and Anita Holec could not have provided a more lovely home base for me and my husband, as well as for our friends, who took the downstairs unit, for Chautauqua's 2015(pre-season) Writers' Festival. Getting in late on Wednesday night, we were greeted with a home-cooked supper to pop in the microwave. Sid helped us to get settled and pointed out the numerous comforts of this homey and immaculate space. The kitchen could not have been better appointed. We especially loved the spacious deck!

On my husband's and my first visit to Chautauqua, we had the enormous pleasure of staying in this apartment. It was clean, comfortably appointed, and well-stocked. That it is so centrally located, yet quiet, were added attractions. Besides the charm of the apartment, though, the graciousness of the owners was boundless. They saw to it that we knew our way around and had everything we needed, including dinner on the first evening, without ever intruding. We cannot recommend this more highly.
