The Summer House Inn is a historic turn-of-the century Chautauqua Inn on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution. It is a comfortable accommodation with quaint rooms and private baths with a shower. There are pleasant porches on both the front and back of the Inn to view people walking by or enjoy a relaxing moment reading your favorite book. The Summer House Inn is conveniently located at the top of the hill, just off the red brick walk, between the Amphitheater and the Hall of Philosophy.  It is just up the hill from Chautauqua Lake and the public beach.
