We had such a wonderful week in the Overstory!!! What a beautiful unit! We loved the patio, the location was perfect, your neighbors are so friendly, and we all slept so well. Thank you so much! We are on our way back west with wonderful memories!

Overstory is a Gem
We had a wonderful stay at the Overstory! The apartment has an excellent location and is very clean and comfortable. The porch is both large and cosy. Superior appliances and a wide range of helpful items (from extensive kitchenware down to a clear bag to accommodate CHQ venue policies) were available throughout. We hope to stay here again.

The Overstory
Terrific place! Will definitely rent again. Kim responds quickly to questions and is really helpful. The unit is spacious, clean, well-equipped, but best of all has a location convenient to all activities. Have been renting at Chautauqua for the past12 years and The Overstory is top notch. The porch feels like a tree house.

Well maintained, exceptionally clean and comfortable
If you can manage the stairs, this place is terrific. It is the cleanest and best stocked (linens, dishes, pots & pans, etc.) rental I have had here. The porch is a wonderful place to enjoy the ambience of Chautauqua. I will definitely come back if it's available.

Superb Management
Thank you for your superb management of the Overstory unit. I appreciate your use of the space and your good taste. It was pleasure to live in these spaces for 5 weeks, beginning with my early morning exchange with Ian (the newspaper delivery person) and often ending with a glass of wine in some corner of the balcony. You certainly know how to stock a place with every possible product I needed. I loved the variety of activities I could choose among at CHQ - as well as the unexpected pop up opportunities; the variety and the serendipity reminded me of a life before COVID.

Sooo Charming!!
Trust the photos! So beautiful and welcoming. This third floor walk up is a gem. The owners have updated EVERYTHING. A fully stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, bathrooms with great showers and plenty of storage and a porch that begs to be enjoyed. A short walk and you’re at the lake. Or... at the center of everything. Or... at the theatre. Or... at a great restaurant. Of course, when we were there the Institute was all virtual due to Covid-19 . But it made for a peaceful and quiet time. We had an amazing dinner on the porch of the Athenaeum Hotel. (The restaurant is called Heritage. ) Lake view. Great service. Excellent dinner. If you want a get away with all the comforts of home, I highly recommend this property. Many thanks to the owners for taking such care to make everything so nice.
