The Gleason - Responsive Staff, Beautiful View
I stayed in the 4 bed, 2 bath, lakeside condo at the Gleason. The condo is spacious with central air, and beautiful lakeside views. We enjoyed the back deck and grill. It’s an older property with lots of quirks, but very comfortable for large families and a quick bike ride to camp for the kids. But what really set the Gleason apart was the responsiveness of the staff. Any time we had a little need or concern- fresh towels, more hand soap, laundry to be done- Colleen was of immediate assistance. When slightly larger issues arose - a screen door that didn’t work or a grill that needed repair- Don showed up immediately to make the fix. Both Don and Colleen made us feel so welcome during our stay. Warm and gracious. I highly recommend The Gleason for big families.- sarah w from New York, NY, Posted: 07/15/2026
Stayed in the downstairs apartment with 4 bedrooms, roomy kitchen, roomy family room and outdoor patio with grill and plenty of seating. We had six adults and had plenty of room. Spent the evenings grilling with great views of the lake and sat/swam off the dock. This is the 10th time we've stayed at the Gleason House and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The new owners are very gracious and eager to please not to mention how much privacy they gave us.- Carol L , Posted: 07/27/2018
