25 Root Ave at the Chautauqua Institution is one of Chautauqua Institution's oldest homes. Some of the furnishings are original to the house, but rest assured, the mattresses are updated, especially wireless Internet.
The house is located behind the Opera House and Bratton Theater. You will enjoy being so close to everywhere. It is a quick walk to Bestor Plaza and the Amphitheater, Galleries, Renee Hall, and Children’s School.
The house sleeps 6 in four bedrooms. There are two rooms with queen beds and two rooms with twins each. All bedrooms are on the second floor.
There are two bathrooms: a bathroom with a tub shower upstairs and a bathroom with a stall shower on the first floor. In addition, there is a washer/dryer on the first floor.

25 Root is so charming and historic. The porch was a wonderful for visiting, reading, breakfast and dinner. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has all the pans and utensils, and containers needed for cooking and food storage. There are many places to put things out for easy access and to plug in all electronics.
