Great cottage!
We had a great 2 weeks here. House is very charming. Had everything we needed. Lots of privacy. Side lot with gazebo is an amazing space. Bonus was on site parking! Central CHQ location.

We had a great stay at 44 Scott. Perfect location. Great porch. Marisa was terrific to deal with. Kitchen is a little small but totally functional. Btw, who wants to be spending their time at CHQ in the kitchen anyway. Nice side yard and gazebo. Also helpful to have two on site parking spots. The "accordion" wall that divides a larger room into two bedrooms works fine and totally functional.

last year i rented 44 Scott i was so happy with my accommodations i am renting for 2 weeks this year. located on a quiet street but near everything. The inside is comfortable, inviting, very clean and user friendly, ample parking right next to the house. the front porch is my favorite perch.

Looking forward to returning to this home where we have rented the past 2 years. Love the standup shower in the laundry area when coming home from the beach. The big side yard and front porch are an additional Plus, making our Chautauqua experience complete.

There are up to 5 bedrooms (one large, very spacious bedroom can be sectioned off by an accordion divider into two bedrooms). The owner of the house noted that one of the bedrooms was on the small size with bunk beds but that did not bother us as we did not need that space and for families with children, it would be more than adequate. There are two full bathrooms and there is a stand alone shower located in the laundry room. The fact that it had parking for two cars and a great side yard,

My family, consisting of 6 adults, truly enjoyed our stay at 44 Scott. When I called to inquire about renting the property, the owner was very up front in telling me that it was an older Chautauqua home. We have stayed in many rentals in Chautauqua and know what to expect from an older home. We just require that the home is clean and adequately stocked, which this one was.

This house offers a comfortable traditional experience. The location and yard are great, and the shared dining and living areas are supplemented by the porches. We felt immediately at home and had a lovely week with family and friends. Loved having the gazebo (with a reading light!) as a cozy retreat. The kitchen can be tight for communal cooking, but we produced all meals just fine. A welcome departure from modern glitz, 44 Scott is the real deal.

I'm sorry my house wasn't up to your expectations. I am changing the description to read 2 full baths and an extra shower in the full laundry room first floor. The large bedroom with divider has always been great for large families and has 2 separate entrances when divided.

House advertised as 2 1/2 bathrooms. Only had 2 bathrooms and a shower in the laundry room. Strong mildew smell downstairs. Huge black mold stain over one bed. Mildew in both bathrooms. Upstairs shower curtain held together with paper clips. Upstairs bedroom divided by plastic folding door, so not really 2 bedrooms. One window in upstairs bedroom can't open...has a sign that says " don't open, window will fall." Ratty, torn towels in bathroom. No bath mat. Difficulty reaching caretaker.

This house is awful....owner is lying about the bedrooms & baths. There are 3 usable bedrooms. What they call 2 bedrooms is one large bedroom with a flimsy plastic screen dividing it. And the "fifth bedroom" has only a child's bunk bed in it. An adult can't fit in it. What they call a half bathroom is a shower in the laundry room....that's it. The house is in desperate need of maintenance. Mold on bedroom ceiling, disgusting mildew in the bathrooms....price is Double what it should be..
