Welcome to our Chautauqua home. We have enjoyed the cottage for 50 years. Several years ago we lifted the original cottage and added a full foundation and apartment. The cottage is located at 21 Peck Avenue, which is one property east of the brick walk (Clark Ave.) The east side of our apartment opens at grade onto a flagstone patio. The driveway is brick with an awning to cover bicycles. We provide 2 bikes. There is a large awning covering the patio, wrought iron outdoor furniture and a dining table outside that seats 4. No parking on premises.  We keep the driveway open for bicycle parking and access to this terrace level apartment.

The great room has three large windows as well as a full-sized window over the sink in the kitchen. The three bedrooms all have at least two full-sized windows in window wells that provide air circulation. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

We have radiant heating in the floors and use the apartment for occasional ski/sledding weekends. The exterior walls are ten inch poured concrete, which makes the space naturally cool in the summer. There is a large window air conditioner unit in the great room. The ceiling is heavily insulated for sound and comfort.

The master bedroom has a king bed, the middle bedroom has a queen bed and a desk, and the third bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds. All bedrooms have dressers and nightstands. One of the two baths has a tub/shower and the other has a corner shower.

The dining room table comfortably seats six, but you can add a leaf to the table and bring two chairs to seat eight.

The apartment has all amenities including W/D, dishwasher, cable, Wi-Fi, Roku, linens, dishes, coffee maker and Keurig, etc. Soap, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper and paper towels are provided. The apartment is professionally cleaned every Saturday, and typically can be seen on Saturdays around noon during the summer with an appointment.  

We have many multi-week guests, and guests that have been returning since we built the apartment.  You are responsible for gate tickets and parking.

Weekly rental is $3000 but we offer a 10% discount for multiple weeks!
