From our home you can enjoy unobstructed views of the lake from porches and patio, and yet you are still really close to central Institution amenities from this ultra-convenient location – we are very near to Bestor plaza as well as the opera house and Bratton Theater, and on the North bus route as well!
We have renovated this Chautauqua cottage so that it offers modern amenities. 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths, plus a powder room on the main level. With a new design aesthetic in 2018, the home features a coastal vibe! With a white couch and light linen dining chairs, this is a very "adult" friendly home. Primary bedroom has private bath and screened porch. Central air conditioning is available on the main and 2nd levels, plus all 6 bedrooms have a window unit as well so that each guest can be as cool as they personally prefer! Smart Hub TVs available so you can access your favorite viewing apps via the internet onto the TV! Internet included. One parking spot near the house included. Private dock available for swimming, fishing and sunbathing!
We strive to make our home comfortable and user-friendly so that you and your guests can completely enjoy your Chautauqua time. Modern, well stocked kitchen with stainless appliances in makes cooking together fun! Microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishwasher – all of the comforts of home. Bed linens & bath towels are included. Large porches and a wonderful stone patio overlooking the lake. Sorry, but due to allergies/asthma, we cannot allow animals or smoking. Due to the white/light design aesthetic, the home is not a good choice for groups with children. Maximum occupancy is 8. While there is more sleeping capacity, we do not rent to groups larger than 8. Our family gathered for my mother's 95th birthday. The range of ages was 10 through 95. EVERYONE had a great time. The house worked perfectly for the whole family. It was right by the lake where my grandchildren fished, the house was on the bus route and we could easily reach any activity which anyone wanted to attend. This is a beautiful, large home with a perfect location: gorgeous lake views and a quick walk to Bestor Plaza. It is perfect for a family gathering with lovely rooms and a fully stocked kitchen.
