The Englewood Treehouse

The Englewood TREEHOUSE is the entire 3rd floor of The Englewood House, a former 15 room 9-bathroom historic guest house. The building, newly renovated in 2018, now houses 6 beautiful modern apartments. The TREEHOUSE is the largest unit occupying the entire 3rd floor of the building. With 4 bedrooms and two full bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, skylight, dine-out porch, two large house- length porches with four porch accesses, fully equipped kitchen and Victorian revival decor.

Located in the heart of the historic Chautauqua Institution, only two doors from the Amphitheater, which hosts the majority of programming throughout the summer season, The Englewood House has been in operation as a boarding house since its founding in 1876.

This historic structure was converted into six new apartment spaces, while preserving the exterior of the historic Victorian house. The Treehouse is located on the 3rd floor (walk-up) and boast splendid views above the homes glimpsing the lake, the Amphitheater, and Bestor Plaza and Downtown Chautauqua. The living space features new appliances, hammock, gas 'woodstove,' A/C and ample porch spaces.
