The Yellow House on the Brick Walk in Chautauqua

What a gem!
The garden apartment is a new area constructed of high quality material in the back of a charmingly updated Victorian style home. There is a private patio complete with an awning and grill. This ideal accommodation is extremely well-equipped making excellent use of space in a bright and tastefully decorated environment. The apartment is conveniently located to provide easy access to all Chautauqua has to offer. The owners, Sid and Anita, are engagingly social hosts who provide a gourmet meal the first evening and remain attentive to guests’ needs through their stay. We look forward to returning to this “home away from home” in the next season.

Excellent all round!
We have stayed for many years at "The House of the Two Generals". The owners, Anita and Sid Holec, are wonderful, considerate hosts. We are always treated to a lavish dinner on the evening of the day when we arrive. They are good company, great fun to talk with and we have come to consider them friends. They are always most helpful in answering any questions that we may have. The apartment that we stayed in this year was the new garden apartment located in the basement. It is a great place to stay with first class amenities. Having stayed in many diverse accommodations during the 30 plus years I have visited Chautauqua, this is by far the best place of all. I give this house an excellent rating and highly recommend it.

Great location and great hospitality
I stayed at 27 Vincent for the first time in 2023, week 8. The apartment is well appointed and clean. There is a patio for use just up the steps with a nice awning. The location is ideal. Close to everything. The hospitality is fabulous. Sid and Anita are wonderful hosts. They hosted two dinners the week I stayed and both were really lovely. I highly recommend this location.
