10 McClintock is an updated, 3800sf home one block from the lake in a lovely neighborhood of single-family homes that is close to the opera house and theater.  Great floor plan, with large rooms, this house is your home away from home.  The spacious, well stocked kitchen* is the center of a happy family vacation and great for group cooking. It includes granite and wood block counters, stainless appliances, and gas cooktop, lots of cooking equipment, a double-wide sink, an espresso machine as well as drip, a small gas grill out back, and more.  The large, inviting first floor porch may be your favorite ‘room’ and has lovely lake views, a comfortable seating area, and a dining table that seats 8.

The home has 6 bedrooms and 4.5 baths configured so that if there are four ‘sets’ of visitors (such as four couples), each will get their own bath.  Third floor:  bright and cheery king room with desk, cozy twin room, hall bath with shower, and a very large and bright office.  Second floor:  spacious master suite with desk, private porch, and en-suite bath with two sinks, separate toilet and tiled shower; queen room with desk; and a room with two twins and a desk.  The second floor has a hall bath with tub/shower and 2 sinks.  The first floor living area hosts a large kitchen with eat-in spots for 4 at the counter, a dining room that seats 10-12, a living room with tv, a half-bath, and a lovely, large porch with both seating and dining areas (table seats 8).  The finished lower level includes a queen bedroom and full bath with shower, plus a laundry room.

There is central AC in the sleeping areas that cools the entire house.

For those who need to work some of the time, there is high speed internet and desks in most bedrooms.  We’ve done 6 simultaneous video conferences with no bandwidth issue.

1-2 on-property parking space(s) available for the week at the renter’s expense.  No smoking or animals.  Those who are highly allergic to cats may not wish to rent this home as I do own cats (they will not be on the premises during the rental, and the home will be very clean, but still…).

*Most pantry items are gluten-free.
